Wow, do you guys know what kind of impact 1e Arcane Echo would would be? Forget about Echo for the moment, because what's less than 1e is a signet of course.

You could learn to not suck horribly with the skill. If you did you'd find that the change barely did anything at all - even less so in PvE.

If the 1 Energy cost necro skills are correct and not a typo, they might as well made it 0 Energy. With 4 pips of Energy regen alone, a necro will regenerate the 1 energy before the spell is done casting. Sounds odd.

Yeah those 1 energy skills rock especially OOB, guess this is a nice way of giving back energy to necros since they screwed us over so much already in the E-management line. But, still touch rangers should be having a field day with these 1 e skills now.

I keep hearing that saying in my head now: "Have you had your touch ranger today?" haha

Rofl. Oh no, spirits don't give as much energy, Anet screwed us over!@ How will we ever get energy? Soul Reaping is still the most powerful primary attribute.

You could learn to not be a dick, though I doubt it. I don't suck with the skill, you don't understand the problem with the change. Cast it and Clumsiness. 4 seconds, Clum triggers, interupts. By the time the Ineptitude triggers 4 seconds usually has gone by.

The way around this? Don't cast as fast (why be a Mesmer?), or time your casts, which takes away from the speed at which the target dies.

But hey, I'm horrible with the skill and don't know jack apparently.

The essence of a mesmer summed up right there.

The mesmer isn't an ele, piling up damage as quickly as possible, it's a skill class relying on the right skill at the right time. Ineptitude, in the right place, is still powerful, it's just not the anti-melee win button that it was before. Now you have to consider when to cast it rather than spam on recharge and watch warriors fall over.

...but it's still the most powerful primary attribute. The 3 necro HM build doesn't come from nowhere; even with the SR nerfs it's still exceptionally good when used well.

The unbuffed GoE back to 10s O.o

Clumsiness + Wansering eye are awesome for PVE mesmers now. 90+ armor ignoring Aoe damage every 5 seconds if you use both.

The 4s duration doesnt matter because monsters in PVE spam attacks continuously and never stop.

But poor poor Power lea

I'm sure it's possible, because you can turn on/off certain skills and make them "PvE Only" Before I made a 55, I was a runner with an A/Mo using Shadow of Haste, but then they changed the skill so the recharge time is longer then the amount of time the skill lasts. so that screwed up my running build.

Please, for us people who actually do PvE, seriously consider the above!

I agree. There should be some way to separate PvP and PvE skills besides the obvious "skill can't be used in PvP" jargon.

This has been brought up 8934598364569645 times and each time they have said they will not do this in the current Guildwars. I don't know how many more times this needs to be answered because someone can't deal with the fact that anet adjusted a skill to balance it better.

I believe that the 1 Energy thing might be because of programming issues.

The game might recognise "Spells" by the definition of energy spent. Having the spells at 0 energy might mean that the game recognise them as Adrenalin Skills, Signets etc.

Who knows. 0 or 1 would not make a difference except in very rare situations.

Like I wrote somewhere, I think they might impose a sac cost for more things to make Necromancers more different (a clue that Necros are to stay in GW2?), and then take another chunk out of Soul Reaping.

I think they are leveling the playing field with other professions. Expertise on 1e is 1e, it is rounded up, I believe. So other professions can get in on the touch action. Bleh.

You can still cripshot them to death, and thus, they are still bad

Power Leak nerfed because it was powerful... fine... but please reflect the energy cost with the new energy loss. No need for it to cost 10 energy.
